Foreign Minister Youssef Raji received a delegation from the Economic and Social Council, headed by Charles Arbid, in a meeting that addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Lebanese diaspora abroad, in a manner that serves the national interest during this critical period for Lebanon.
The delegation presented a number of ideas and proposals aimed at building an effective partnership between the Council and the Ministry, harnessing the potential of Lebanese expatriates to contribute to the country's economic recovery.
Minister Raji welcomed this approach, emphasizing his openness to any initiative that would contribute to achieving economic stability and restoring the confidence of Lebanese citizens, both residents and expatriates, in the future of their homeland.
